JEANETTE "KITTI" DOROTHY KITZMANN, age 88, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 02, 2012 at the Fairview Care Center in Philadelphia. Jeanette was born on the home farm in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on March 11, 1924, the daughter of Albert and Elsie (Loga) Kitzman. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1941 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA in 1959. Jeanette served in the Peace Corp from 1964 until 1968 in Peru, along the shores of Lake Titicaca. Jeanette taught Junior High Art Class in Philadelphia for 23 years. She volunteered at Morris Arboretum in the Railway Garden. In her spare time, she made Cascarones which was a fundraiser for Aids families in Philadelphia which was sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese.
Surviving are: Two sisters: Maryette Lutz and Evelyn Krueger, both of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11 A.M. at the NITARDY FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Karen Klatt officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10 A.M. on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the time of the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania.
