OKLAHOMA CITY
Nancy Laurene Morris McLeroy went to her Lord on July 18, 2020.

Nancy was born September 25, 1943 in Oklahoma City to George D. and Laurene Adams Morris.

A 1961 graduate of Classen High School, she earned her B.A. and M.S. with honors in Psychology from Oklahoma University before serving for two years in the late 1960's in Bolivia with the Peace Corps, [Group 35; TB Control Group. 1969-71].

Nancy lived in Chapel Hill, N.C. for many years, working and obtaining all but dissertation status for a doctorate in psychology. She returned to Oklahoma City in 1987 to care for her parents, and following a stroke in 2012, moved to Maryville, TN to be near family.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, and her niece, Susan Morris. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David and Marcia Morris, her niece, Wendy Morris Hill (Mrs. Dewayne Hill) and two great-nieces, Emily and Megan Hill, all of Maryville, TN.

Closed casket viewing will be 10-11 a.m., Saturday, July 25th, at Hahn-Cook/Street and Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, OKC with a graveside service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, Rev. Phil Davis officiating. Masks are available and required.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
